The German president Horst Köhler said after his election: "It's not as if the managers in Germany are outstanding for their ability to empathize and for setting an example"
If somebody at the head of a company is raking in millions in Euro and is setting free ten thousands of people, this is not just a lack of instinct but of entrepreneurial awareness. Köhler wishes for more responsibility from the top managers.
One should be able to take it for granted, that managers understand the arithmetical correlations clearly and that they have no problems in using their mathematical knowledge, Though it doesn't always see to be true in reality.
